Bible Classes
Children’s Classes
During our 9:30AM & 11AM worship service, children are a welcome addition to the worship service. This gives each of us an opportunity to be a good example and helps the children develop good behavior and the ability to pay attention.
However, during our Bible Class times at 10:20 AM the children are divided by age into classrooms that are specifically geared to their unique learning styles. We even begin with mothers and babies in a special class together as early as 3 months old! There truly is a class for ALL Ages!
For our smallest students, a combination of songs, manipulatives, visual aids, and caring teachers make the children feel right at home while helping them learn the wonderful stories of the Bible.
As students get older, they begin a survey of the entire Bible learning characters, dates, places, and most importantly the essential concepts of God’s love, faithfulness, and justice.
These classes are designed to complement and supplement the Bible instruction which students receive at home so that each child is given a solid foundation upon which to continue to learn as they enter the Junior High, High School, and Adult classes.
Whether considering the worship service or Bible classes we think it is easy to see that we deeply care about our young people and are doing a lot to help them grow to love and know our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Adult Classes
The Adult classes at East End are living proof that “Sunday School” is not just for kids.
Each Sunday morning at 10:20 am and Wednesday night at 7:00pm adults ranging from their twenties to eighties break down into our Adult classrooms for 45 minutes of practical and focused study of the Bible.
Whether on a specific book of the Bible or a chosen topic, these classes are designed to equip every student with a little more of the “know-how” we all need to live each day by God’s plan.
Our Adult classes also prove that learning is a two way street. Classes provide time to speak up and share insights to encourage fellow students. Our guests, however, can rest assured that they won’t be put on the spot to answer a question or speak out.
In fact, by visiting us during our classes many visitors find a class where they can quickly begin to connect with our members and feel at home.
We hope that you will feel welcome and invited to come and worship with us at either of these times. We know it is a time or great growth for us, and we trust we can provide the same for you. If you have any questions please contact us by email or call us at 859-263-2539.
