A lot of religious people believe that miracles brought about by the power of God are being performed today just as they were in Bible times. Others claim that the days of miracles ended when the last of the New Testament apostles and prophets died and that miracles are no longer happening. Which is correct?
“Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies” (Prov. 31:10). These words serve to introduce the Bible picture of an ideal woman. This is God’s “ideal.” This is beauty as God sees beauty. This is God’s formula for happiness and contentment. We would emphasize that this is the ideal. This is the standard for which godly women strive.
Much has been written about elders and their role in God’s plan. However, I would like to address a related topic: elder’s wives.
Deacons have specific qualifications that are clearly outlined in Scripture. Each deacon should be an active member of the church and possess the qualifications that are described in 1 Tim. 3:8-13.
