The Biblical right of divorce belongs only to the person who has a spouse guilty of “fornication/sexual immorality.” If your spouse is not guilty of fornication, then you have no Biblical “cause” or “reason” to divorce them. (Matt 5:32) If you are guilty of fornication, you do not have a “cause”; you are the “cause”!!

God’s tender kindness is stirred when he looks upon the affliction of those who have so much need of his support and guidance being left without their natural earthly protector; their husband and father. God is as kind to the weak and helpless as he is severe towards the bold and stubborn evil-doer. If his justice is an absolute attribute for evil doers; and it is; then, so is his kindness and compassion.
